Education: I graduated in December 2012 with a B.S. in Adolescent Education and a B.A. in English Literature from SUNY Oswego in Oswego, NY. I graduated with a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction in March 2015. I am currently researching masters programs for English.
Background: I am originally from the Bronx but moved to King George from the Syracuse area in 2013 to join the amazing KGMS staff. I have always wanted to be a teacher.
Outside of School: I am married with three children (my two boys attend King George Elementary School and my daughter attends King George Preschool). During my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, photography, working on my YA novel and cooking. I am an avid sci-fi and fantasy fan. My favorites include many super heroes, Doctor Who, Star Wars and Star Trek. I collect POP! figures and action figures and keep them on my classroom shelf- come take a look! Also, I love to read! My reading record is five books in a week. Come check out my classroom library- I have something for everyone on my shelves! If you ever need a book recommendation, I guarantee I can find something you will enjoy.
**A little cheat sheet for pronouncing my name: Ms. Noon-Yez
