- Come prepared each day with books, notebook, pens, pencils, and homework.
- Be on time. When the bell rings, have everything ready to begin class.
- Please use the restroom before coming to class. Unless you have a timer attached to your bladder, don't expect to use the restroom daily in my class.
- There is no such thing as free time. Every minute you are in my classroom is a minute devoted to learning. If you finish an assignment early, you MUST pull out a book and read. If you left yours at home, you are welcomed to borrow reading materials from my shelves.
- School is your job. If I don't do my job and meet my deadlines, I might not get paid. Please be mindful of assignments and deadlines and complete them in the proper time frame.
- Be respectful to your teachers and classmates and all property that is not your own.
- Be kind and include all classmates in activities. If during group activities there is an extra person or someone who doesn't have a group, invite them to yours. Treat others as you would want to be treated!
- Do NOT talk while I am talking! I will not stand and lecture you for the entire period, so please be respectful when I am at the front of the room. If I am speaking, don't make me repeat directions because you were busy talking.
- Do not yell out, use inappropriate language or discuss inappropriate topics. If you choose to do so, you will be asked to let Mrs. Collins, Mr. Bryant or Ms. Conklin know what you were talking about in my classroom.
- Do NOT chew gum or eat candy in class, unless you have a privilege pass, which can be obtained in a variety of ways.
- Come to class with a positive attitude and high expectations. I will do the same.
